This role involves coaching and mentoring apprentices in the workplace, supporting their progress, preparing them for End Point Assessments, and working closely with employers to align training with business needs.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Deliver tailored learning and development support for apprentices on Level 2 and Level 3 Business Administration, Team Leading and Customer Service apprenticeship standards.</li><li>Provide regular workplace coaching and mentoring to apprentices, enabling practical application of knowledge and skills.</li><li>Monitor, assess, and record apprentices’ progress, ensuring timely achievement of milestones and qualification requirements.</li><li>Support apprentices in portfolio building and preparation for End Point Assessments (EPAs).</li><li>Work collaboratively with employers and internal teams to align training with business needs and apprenticeship standards.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive and accurate learner records in line with Chelmsford College policies and funding requirements.</li><li>Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that motivates apprentices and encourages engagement.</li><li>Stay up to date with changes in apprenticeship frameworks, assessment criteria, and best practice in business administration and customer service training.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What We’re Looking For<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum Level 3 qualification in Business Administration, Team Leading, Customer Service, or a related discipline.</li><li>Proven experience supporting or delivering Level 2 & 3 apprenticeships in business administration, team leading and/or customer service.</li><li>Teaching or training qualification (e.g., Level 3 Award in Education and Training, PTLLS, or equivalent).</li><li>Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards and assessment processes.</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a commitment to learner success.</li><li>Proficient organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Experience in a business administration, team leading or customer<br><br></li></ul>service role.<br><br><ul><li>Familiarity with Chelmsford College’s learning management systems or similar digital platforms.</li><li>Additional coaching or mentoring qualifications.<br><br></li></ul>Why Chelmsford College?<br><br>This is a great opportunity to join a respected and inclusive College, committed to learner success and staff development.
