Who we are looking for:

EECO is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver who is reliable and accurate in the selection and delivery of ordered equipment in support of Sales, internal team members and our customers.

The objective of this role:

The role of this position is to fill customers’ orders safely and accurately; and ensure those orders are delivered on time. This will entail using modern inventory scanning devices, material handling equipment, and the safe operation of our delivery vehicle. This requires ensuring schedules are respected and inventory control processes/policies are followed. You will provide timely service and demonstrate strong customer service skills and assist in the warehousing and receipt of materials along with any and all required transactional requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately selecting items/equipment from warehouse inventory using handheld scanning device and preparing the order for shipment.
  • Safely delivering the order to customers on time while providing an elevated level of customer service.
  • Communication to customers and warehouse management with solution-oriented thinking in the event of unforeseen delivery delays.
  • Safely loading on and off of large motor vehicle.
  • Ability to safely operate forklift with proper training and certification and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe work area and environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 18 years old with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2-3 years order fulfillment (customer order picking/selection) and/or product delivery experience
  • Previous experience in the Electrical Industry and/or inventory management is a plus
  • Ability to lift, move, stack and stock products up to 50lbs; occasionally performs same activities weighing up to 70lbs
  • Ability to drive a 10-ton stake truck
  • Experience operating an RF scan gun is a plus
