Learn more about what it means to become a team member with Carolina Cat.</p><p><strong>Summary</strong></p><p>The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials to support operations across the company. This role involves working with SAP and other inventory systems to ensure accurate material tracking, timely order fulfillment, and safe handling procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse environment.</p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Receiving Materials: </strong>Unload shipments, verify contents against invoices, inspect for damage, and complete Goods Receipt transactions in SAP.</li><li><strong>Storing Materials: </strong>Organize and label inventory in designated storage locations (racks, shelves, or bins); maintain proper documentation of item placement.</li><li><strong>Inventory Management: </strong>Perform routine cycle counts, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist with internal and external audits.</li><li><strong>Material Distribution: </strong>Pick and stage materials for production or shipment. Deliver items to proper departments and communicate delivery completion to internal partners.</li><li><strong>Shipping & Packing: </strong>Package finished goods, generate shipping labels and documentation, and assist with outbound shipment coordination.</li><li><strong>Operating Equipment: </strong>Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Perform daily equipment safety checks and report issues.</li><li><strong>Cleanliness & Safety: </strong>Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area. Follow all safety protocols and immediately report unsafe conditions.</li><li><strong>Additional Duties:</strong></li><ul><li>Issue purchase orders and assist with tracking inbound shipments.</li><li>Collaborate with internal departments including sales, service, and operations to meet material deadlines.</li><li>Support process improvement initiatives such as 5S and lean practices.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.<br><br></li></ul></ul><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p><p>This job has no supervisory responsibilities.</p><p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
