Ideal for someone with their NC real estate license (although not a requirement.). Mostly work from home. PT:As-needed. We are looking for a single family, residential real estate property management assistant to join our team and provide support. The successful candidate will be responsible for being the direct contact and relationship liaison to find, vet, and maintain all vendors (handypeople, electricians, plumbers, painters, etc...), get quotes for goods and services, provide administrative assistance, such as preparing documents, scheduling appointments, managing databases, and responding to tenants and potential tenant inquiries and needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently. Must be resourceful, smart, fast-paced, create genuine rapport easily, and enjoy doing so.

Must have previous experience working with vendors in some capacity.

This position is an independent contractor opportunity on an as-needed basis.

Mostly work from home, there will be times where the the R/E assistant will meet prospective tenants or vendors at the houses, pick up things from Home Depot (and similar), and put out for rent signs and lockboxes, and more.

This would be the perfect and ideal position for a realtor, in the area, looking for extra work and definitely someone with previous property management experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Make calls and correspond with handypeople, electricians, plumbers, painters, etc..
  • Help manage and coordinate residential, single family rentals.
  • Assist in the marketing of properties (if you're have your realtor's license.).
  • Organize and maintain real estate records.
  • Conduct research to identify tenants, vendors, and material.
  • Assist however is needed
  • Assist with scheduling appointments.
  • Most Important: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors (and sometimes tenants.).
  • Show houses to prospective tenants (if you have your realtor's license.).
  • Meet with vendors, take photos at move out, run other errands, every now and again

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
