ABOUT THE ROLE Elevate your career as the VP, Product Management – Bank Payments and Data Products at Trustly. Serve as our overall company champion for the end-to-end success of our flagship Payments and Data product lineup that includes: PayByBank, PayOuts and more. This will include taking charge of crafting the strategic direction, measuring success, developing and implementing related product roadmaps, and driving increased usage with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, engineering, merchants, and regulators. Additionally, you will develop these capabilities in an extractable, reusable and service-orientated platform manner to allow other internal and potentially external product and tech teams to build capabilities on top of these core products. Harnessing Trustly’s cutting-edge Open Banking platform and other key resources, you’ll lead the charge in shaping the future of fintech! WHAT YOU’LL DO • Serve as company thought leader on emerging trends, capabilities, competitive landscape and regulatory environment and how they impact the current and future Bank and Data product set. This may include topics like FedNow, CFPB 1033, RTP, and more. • Develop the overall product strategy and end-to-end road map for the Bank and Data Products and gain cross-functional organizational alignment towards the timing and success of that strategy. • Responsible for the overall full SDLC (software development lifecycle) process for the Bank and Data Products, including ideation, compliance, support readiness, measurement analytics and customer feedback, etc and partner with appropriate internal stakeholders to ensure success. • Work closely with Engineering Leaders to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products for our customers. • Serve as a key client point of contact on how best to integrate, use and scale the product offerings and gain useful feedback on improving functionality. Lead and further develop a team of product managers and designers who will support the overall product management function for the Payments and Data capabilities. WHO YOU ARE • 15+ years of end to end (front end and back end) product management experience, which has included deep understanding of bank payments and the use of financial data to enable them. • PL related experience or working closely with PL owners with a shadow PL responsibility is preferred. • Experience working at a payments service provider or a having payment product leadership position within a mid to large sized merchant organization. • Hands on talent manager, who has successfully cultivated and exported talent to other roles inside and outside of their organization. • Experiencing building scalable platform product services that can be reused by internal and external users. • Experience marrying strategy, delivery and operations. • Experience evangelizing product capabilities at industry events, client conferences and with media. • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree (MBA, MA or MS) preferred. • Extensive experience in conceptualizing, defining and creating best in class payment and data products. • An obsession with delighting users • Ability to apply product design and prioritization frameworks, as well as metrics into the design and decision-making process • Adept at working in the details and steering strategic initiatives • Ability to prioritize and make mission-critical decisions with limited information • Adept in Agile development methodologies • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Effective cross-functional leader Experience working in a fast-moving startup • Experience defining and operationalizing processes. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
