Community Connections Champions help NeuroKind build positive relationships with local people, groups, and businesses. By sharing our mission in a friendly, strengths‑based way, volunteers support community awareness, connection, and inclusion. Champions choose how they take part, with no pressure or fixed expectations.

Suggested Activities

  • Chat with local people, groups, or businesses about NeuroKind.
  • Help at stalls, events, or creative showcases.
  • Share posters, flyers, or supporter packs.
  • Help set up colourful, sensory‑friendly displays.
  • Bring ideas for fun community activities.
  • Share information in ways that suit you — talking, writing, messaging, or using notes.

Time Commitment

Fully flexible and based on availability. Most opportunities take place during weekday hours 9 – 3pm. Volunteers choose the tasks and times that suit their energy and personal commitments. No minimum hours or attendance requirements.

Location

Activities take place in Swansea and nearby areas, with some tasks available online.

Supervision & Support

  • Regular check‑ins with the programme co‑ordinator.
  • Support available at events and activities.
  • Volunteers can ask for information in advance and request adjustments at any time.

Qualities

We welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic about community connection and enjoy sharing ideas in a supportive, respectful environment. Warmth, creativity, calmness, lived experience, and all communication styles are valued. No formal qualifications or previous volunteering experience required.
