Responsibilities

  • Perform financial and statistical analysis.
  • Perform financial structuring and transaction execution activities.
  • Assist in performing business development and/or financial product advisory.
  • Develop presentation and other materials for clients.
  • Actively participate in client and deal teams.
  • Participate in due diligence sessions and client meetings.
  • Execute and advise on various debt capital markets transactions, syndicated and bilateral loan facilities, convertible debt offerings, hybrid debt offerings, acquisition financing, spin offs/split offs, private placements, and other debt products.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to analyze trends, including discounted cash flow, leverage buyout, cost of capital analysis, merger models, ability-to-pay, value-creation, operating models, and 3-statement models.
  • Perform comprehensive benchmarking analyses to advise clients on appropriate liquidity, minimum cash balance, leverage, fixed versus floating rate mix, capital allocation, and shareholder distributions.
  • Prepare client presentation materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents such as roadshow materials, confidential information memorandums, and rating agency presentations to execute transactions.
  • Conduct research using Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Thomson, and Factiva to analyze market data and competitive dynamics.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related: and
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.
  • Must include 5 years of progressively responsible experience in each of the following:
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to analyze client financial stability;
  • Using Moody’s, S&P, and Fitch rating methodologies to prepare presentations, assess an agency’s unique rating adjustments, and advise companies on public and private credits rating matters;
  • Assessing client financials to provide cost efficient corporate finance solutions in various economic environments including markets volatility, rates & currencies fluctuations, capital markets, and dislocations;
  • Analyzing client needs and identifying cross-sell opportunities to bolster client relationships, generate revenue, and drive product engagement using tools/systems including Capital IQ and Bloomberg;
  • Utilizing product knowledge across Credit, Loans, Structured Finance, Debt & Equity Capital Markets, GPS, Hedging and Financial Advisory to strategize with stakeholders in order to promote and sell to clients.
  • 10% domestic travel required, as necessary
