About the position

PCHP- Parkland Community Health Plan Primary Purpose The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Analyst will lead and execute comprehensive testing processes for configurations within the QNXT environment. This role collaborates with the configuration team to resolve issues while ensuring root causes are addressed in alignment with business requirements. Minimum Specifications Education • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Experience • Three years of user acceptance testing (UAT) experience. • Experience with QNXT, including testing configurations for fee schedules, benefits, and contracts. • Experience documenting test cases and user stories in alignment with business requirements. Equivalent Education and/or Experience • May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above. Skills or Special Abilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally across disciplines. Ability to communicate complex information in understandable terms. • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across and beyond the organization. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and system testing. • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and troubleshooting. • Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow (SNOW) or Jira for managing test cases and tracking issues preferred. • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple demands and respond to rapidly changing priorities. • Ability to write clearly and succinctly with a high level of attention to detail. • Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills. Ability to learn new software programs. • Knowledge of Texas Medicaid, National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), the Uniformed Managed Care Contract, and the Uniform Managed Care Manual. Responsibilities Operations • Develop, execute, and document detailed test cases and user stories for QNXT configurations, including fee schedules, benefit plans, and provider contracts. • Utilize SQL to validate data accuracy and investigate issues. • Work closely with the configuration team to resolve issues identified during testing, ensuring root causes are addressed. • Document and communicate testing outcomes, including failed tests, and provide actionable feedback for resolution. • Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and retesting efforts using SNOW and Excel. • Create reports and dashboards to communicate testing progress and outcomes to stakeholders. • Provide clear, concise updates to stakeholders, including risks, outcomes, and next steps. • Facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams to address testing challenges and ensure alignment. Quality • Integrate health literacy principles into all communication including Members and Providers. • Support strategies that meet clinical, quality and network improvement goals. • Promote the use of Health Information Technology to support and monitor the effectiveness of health and social interventions and make data-driven recommendations as needed. • For staff in clinical roles, foster collaborative relationships with members and/or providers to promote and support evidence-based practices and care coordination. • Proactively identify opportunities to improve testing processes and tools. • Perform functional, regression, and edge-case testing to ensure configurations meet business and system requirements. Regulatory • Ensures work is carried out in compliance with regulatory and/or accreditation standards as well as contractual requirements. • Ensure all configurations align with business requirements and regulatory standards.
