Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Unreal Engine C++ Engineer to join our team at Imerza LLC, a fast-paced creative technology company. You'll play a key role in building and maintaining C++ plugins and tools for our large-scale Unreal Engine projects. We’re looking for someone with a strong portfolio and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Write clean, high-performance, scalable C++ code.
  • Develop, modify, debug and maintain plugins and editor tools to streamline artist and developer workflows.
  • Build robust APIs and editor UIs that integrate with project content and pipelines.
  • Profile and optimize CPU/GPU performance, memory use, and load times for editor and runtime.
  • Collaborate with engineers, artists, and designers to iterate on tooling and feature requirements.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings and contribute to the team’s iterative development process.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and usage guides; provide hands-on support to users when needed.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:
  • Shipped at least one Indie or AAA product in Unreal Engine 5.
  • Excellent proficiency in C++, with 4+ years of experience writing C++ in Unreal.
  • Deep understanding of Unreal Engine 5 gameplay framework and engine source.
  • Proficiency in profiling and optimizing CPU/GPU performance, memory, and multi-threading.
  • Solid 3D math background (linear algebra, transforms, quaternions); comfortable applying math to rendering and gameplay.
  • Understanding of version control and agile development practices.

Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability for core working hours (US EST).
