Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM with rotating on-call responsibilities.

Job Description

The Sonography Department provides high-quality ultrasound imaging services focused on both general and specialized vascular studies. Sonographers are expected to have strong skills in general and vascular ultrasound, with experience in interventional radiology (IR) preferred. The team operates within an IAC-accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Lab, requiring sonographers with advanced knowledge and proficiency in various diagnostic vascular studies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of vascular ultrasound studies independently, including upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex studies, carotid duplex studies, bypass graft studies, and more.
  • Participate in a rotating call schedule for evening and weekend coverage.
  • Occasionally provide services at additional locations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • ARDMS certification is required.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is preferred.
  • High levels of competency and proficiency across all outlined vascular ultrasound studies are required.
