Responsibilities

  • Greet customers with a warm smile and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
  • Prepare food and beverages according to company standards, including coffee, sandwiches, and baked goods
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order taking and cash handling
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and food preparation zones
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while managing register operations efficiently
  • Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
  • Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
  • Experience with food preparation, cashiering, or serving roles enhances your ability to succeed in this position
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or grocery store settings
  • Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
