About Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher of DUCKS (Early Years 2–4) to lead a high‑quality, nurturing and developmentally appropriate provision for our youngest learners. The successful candidate will create a stimulating, play‑based and inquiry‑driven environment that supports the holistic development of children aged 2–4, fostering secure foundations in communication, physical development, and personal, social and emotional growth. Working collaboratively within the DUCKS team, the teacher will design creative and innovative learning experiences that reflect the developmental needs of early childhood, while upholding and enhancing the College’s guided statements and commitment to Worldwise education.

We are Looking for Someone Who
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or related field.
  • PGCE, QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Minimum two years’ post‑qualification experience.
  • Proven experience teaching children aged 2–4 within an Early Years setting.
  • Strong understanding of play‑based and inquiry‑based learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to use observation‑led assessment to inform personalised provision.
  • Experience supporting early language acquisition, including EAL learners.
