We are currently recruiting for a Residential Childcare Worker position with a reputable organization that provides care for children and young people aged 5-18 years with autism and learning disabilities.

Residential Childcare Worker

Place of work: Dundee, up to 30 miles radius

Experience: 6+Months

We offer: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, and Contract positions available

ResponsibilityWhat will you be responsible for:

Providing support and care to children and young people with autism and learning disabilities in a residential setting. This will involve assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and educational activities. You will work as part of a team to create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment.

Specifically the activities will be:

Assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and educational activities. Working as part of a team to create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children and young people aged 5-18 years with autism and/or learning disabilities.

ExperienceWhat requirements are we looking for?

6+ months of experience working with children or young people aged 5-18 years with autism and/or learning disabilities is required. Relevant experience is essential. Specific educational qualifications may be advantageous but are not mandatory.

Requirements/SkillsWhat requirements are we looking for?

Experience supporting individuals with autism and/or learning disabilities is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
