The Strategic Supply Chain Partner will serve as the strategic point of contact for all assigned clients and support their Scope of Work. Oversite and/or support of all procurement & distribution initiatives which can include: • arenaflex Effective Option Identification • Supplier Management • Market & Supply Chain Intelligence and Reporting • Inventory and PO Management • LTO/Promotion Management • New Restaurant Opening Support Auditing, defined as maintaining all existing and future locations to manage the following: • Price Verification • Distribution Inventory Insights • PO Transparency • Client Distributor Spend Reporting Who we are: Chow Purchasing is a full-service Supply Chain division of the Buyers Edge Platform. Our team, consisting of experienced professionals in Restaurant Operations, Manufacturing, Distribution, Freight Management, and financial expertise, manage and support various multi-unit restaurants’ Supply Chain. Your impact: • Support Chow Purchasing and Buyers Edge Platform companies annual revenue goals • Lead, manage, complete, and delegate tasks specific to the assigned clients to ensure each client is served with excellence and sees the value being delivered as a trusted, dedicated supply chain partner • Learn and effectively use Chow Purchasing’s data platforms such as but not limited to; ArrowStream, Inside Track and assigned clients’ distributor reporting platform to pull data, analyze, and provide insights back to assigned client • Creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with assigned clients as well as their suppliers and distributor partners • Lead and develop strategies that supports the assigned clients’ business goals and objectives. • Facilitate communication and work cross-functionally with various stakeholders internally and externally on behalf of assigned client • Coordinate assigned client meetings using both cross functional internal resources and external resources when appropriate, prepare the materials for the meeting(s), and present to all levels of the client’s organization • Influence assigned clients decision making without decision making rights • Serve as Chow Purchasing’s brand ambassador while acting as assigned clients’ advocate • Identify when to include/engage Chow Purchasing leadership to support assigned client • Continuously learn and stay informed on the following: Foodservice/Hospitality industry trends, commodity markets, logistics and distribution trends, consumer insights etc. • Represent Chow Purchasing and/or assigned clients at Foodservice/Hospitality industry events, assigned clients’ conferences, assigned clients’ suppliers and distributor partners and on site assigned clients’ offices and/or restaurants as needed About you: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
