<Responsibilities>

  • Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing any questions or special requests with enthusiasm.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and register accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and dining areas; adhere to food safety protocols.
  • Restock ingredients, supplies, and condiments to ensure smooth restaurant operations throughout each shift.
  • Support team members by bussing tables, managing food handling tasks, and assisting in kitchen or food prep areas as needed to keep the restaurant running seamlessly.

<Requirements>

  • Prior experience in food preparation or working in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Previous experience in retail or grocery store environments is beneficial but not mandatory.

Prerequisites:

Age: Over 18 yrs only - due to nature of job role and hours/shifts that are required to work.

Education: Some high school or equivalent.

Availability: At least 4 Full days per week

Experience & Skills: No previous experience required. Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
