sans-serif;font-size:14px;">This is a key position within the Revenue Management branch’s Manufactured Revenue team, whose goal is to generate new revenues by implementing next-generation RM concepts, maintaining a strategic roadmap for the department, and developing models and systems to further Air Canada’s revenue generation while supporting key commercial initiatives and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">The Specialist, Manufactured Revenue will help guide the development and deployment of new Revenue Management concepts and systems, while also reviewing and supporting existing core RM processes & algorithms.  The Specialist will consult on RM workflows and best practices and contribute to an innovation community at Air Canada, while recommending strategic commercial decisions.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Guide the design of Offer Optimization, Branded Fare, and Ancillary systems & practices based solidly on RM theory, including assessments of vendor proposals, participating in build vs buy decisions, and leading internal development activities</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Contribute to the deployment of next-generation RM concepts, like dependent-demand forecasting models and continuous pricing, in a manner that balances scientific & commercial realities through analysis and guidance</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Guide the application of RM theory by supporting other teams in aligning recommended existing and new practices & workflows with theory and promoting post-audit and Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or equivalent.</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">3-5 years of proven experience in a practical application of revenue management theory and revenue generation with an entrepreneurial spirit</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Knowledge of Origin-Destination revenue management theory, including forecasting & optimization of traditional and dependent-demand models</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Scientific expertise in offer optimization, or other next-generation RM concepts, including ancillary products, bundles, and branded
