Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a high-energy, creative, and execution-driven Social Media Content Creator to help elevate our brand presence across digital platforms. This role goes beyond posting content — we are looking for someone who understands that social media drives brand perception, engagement, member retention, and traffic.
You’ll work closely with the Social Media Manager to build and execute a defined social strategy, develop a consistent content calendar, and create standout organic content that differentiates us from competitors.
We need a go-getter. Someone proactive. Someone not afraid to get their hands dirty — filming workouts, capturing member testimonials, hopping into trends, and bringing fresh ideas to the table.This position is fully in-person. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Wichita, KS. Remote work will not be considered.
Strategy & Planning
  • Assist in developing and refining a cohesive social media strategy
  • Build and maintain a consistent, forward-thinking content calendar
  • Align content with brand voice, campaigns, promotions, and club initiatives
  • Contribute ideas that support engagement, traffic, and retention goals
Content Creation
  • Capture and produce high-quality photo and video content in club environments
  • Create short-form and long-form video content tailored for:
  • Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed)
  • Facebook
  • TikTok
  • YouTube (Shorts + longer-form content)
  • Film workouts, trainers, member stories, behind-the-scenes, events, and trends
  • Write compelling captions that drive engagement and conversation
  • Ensure content feels authentic, energetic, and community-driven
Editing & Production
  • Edit short-form video quickly and effectively (CapCut, InShot, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)
  • Add captions, hooks, motion graphics, and trend-based audio
  • Optimize content for each platform’s best practices
  • Maintain brand consistency in visuals and messaging
Trend & Platform Awareness
  • Stay ahead of social trends, viral formats, and platform updates
  • Identify opportunities to participate in trending conversations
  • Translate trends into fitness- and community-relevant content
Performance & Optimization
  • Monitor analytics and engagement metrics
  • Adjust content based on performance insights
  • Understand how social impacts brand perception and member loyalty
Qualifications & Skills
  • 1–3+ years of experience in social media content creation
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Confident on camera and comfortable directing others on camera
  • High energy and comfortable working in gym environments
  • Baseline knowledge of health and fitness (terminology, training styles, gym culture)
  • Strong video editing skills (mobile and/or desktop software)
  • Independent thinker with creative problem-solving ability
  • Ability to execute quickly while meeting deadlines
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience with:
  • Content scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, Sprout, etc.)
  • Basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe Suite)
  • Analytics dashboards
  • Community management and engagement
  • Photography skills a plus
  • Paid ads knowledge a plus (not required, but beneficial)
