Who we are

We're Field — a design-first Shopify Plus e-commerce agency working with premium, high-growth brands. We're a small, senior, tight-knit team of designers and developers who genuinely enjoy working together, and our retention rate (both team and clients) reflects that. People stick with us because we care, collaborate, and take pride in the work we create.

For nearly 20 years, we've been designing thoughtful, user-focused digital experiences for brands including Neptune Interiors, Percival Menswear, Schöffel Country, This Works, Le Chameau, Tatti Lashes, and The Sports Edit. Our clients are genuinely great to work with and trust us to push their design and performance forward.

All of our work is done 100% in-house — no outsourcing, no production-line hand-offs. Just a focused team creating high-quality, best-in-class digital design.

The role

We're looking for a Shopify Developer to join our team: someone with experience working with Shopify and/or Shopify Plus storefronts using Liquid, who understands responsive website development and with a keen eye for detail.

You'll work across a blend of new builds and iterative optimisation projects — improving UX, refining flows, and lifting metrics like CVR and AOV. You'll work closely with the design team to translate Figma designs into precise, responsive and performant code. We do not use templates or boilerplate themes; everything we build is bespoke.

If you enjoy writing performant code from scratch and have a meticulous attention to detail, you'll fit right in.

What you'll do

Develop bespoke Shopify storefronts Iterate and improve existing stores Build responsive, accessible and performant digital experiences Collaborate closely with designers to ensure pixel-perfect precision Consult with the team and clients on technical scoping

You'll thrive here if you have the following

Must-haves

2+ years experience in Shopify and Liquid development Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web components Strong understanding of responsive development and browser compatibility A collaborative, open attitude — we work as a team, not in silos

Nice-to-haves

Experience with TailwindCSS Experience integrating third-party apps and APIs Knowledge of CRO, A/B testing or interpreting analytics.

What we offer

Remote or hybrid working (UK only) Private healthcare Annual training budget 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) Birthday off One extra holiday day for every year you're with us (up to +5) EMI scheme Enhanced maternity & paternity leave Pension scheme

Why you'll love working with us

Excellent team and client retention — people enjoy working with us and stay for the long haul. A senior, ego-free, collaborative team that's serious about quality. Genuinely lovely clients who value design and trust us creatively. 100% in-house work — you'll always be part of the full process, never a "cog in a big machine". Space to grow, lead projects, and shape the work you produce.

We're committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where people of all backgrounds feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work.

How to apply

If you're interested, you can apply via LinkedIn or email explaining why you think you're a great fit for the role.
