Are you an experienced millwright and up for a new career challenge? Are you looking for a job on the road to act as an expert for your customers by carrying out maintenance, repair and installation of sophisticated machines? We are currently looking for an experienced service technician to join the ranks of a company specializing in the distribution of state-of-the-art machines.

POSITION: Field service technician - Millwright
POSITION TYPE: Permanent
LOCATION: Quebec and East Of Ontario
SCHEDULE: Day
Hourly SALARY: $35 to $45 hourly depending on experience + annual bonus
INDUSTRY: Wood industrial machinery

Responsibilities
Tasks of the service technician position in Montreal:
- Be in charge of a team of service technicians.
- Be the resource person and act as a leader in your field
- Installation and intervention on customer equipment across Quebec
- Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of equipment
- Interpretation of plans and diagrams in order to carry out installation, repair and maintenance
- Assemble and put new equipment into working order efficiently
- Perform corrective maintenance on equipment
- Properly diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on equipment
- Provide training to customers on the proper use of equipment
- Write service reports with care and attention, and offer solutions to problems.
- Provide exemplary customer service

Qualifications
Experience required for the field service technician position in Montreal:
- DEP in electromechanics, DEC in industrial electronics, Bachelor in mechanic or equivalent
- Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in wood crafting machine maintenance
- Be autonomous and resourceful
- Skill in reading electrical plans and mechanical diagrams
- Be skilled in mechanical, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting
- Ensure exemplary customer service
- Be bilingual in French and English
