AdTech
London (Hybrid)

Background

Pivotal is strengthening its AdTech and technology recruitment team. We are hiring an experienced consultant to focus on placing commercial talent, including sales, account management and GTM roles into fast-growing AdTech, SaaS and digital technology businesses.

This desk combines warm client relationships with huge growth potential. You’ll work with VC-backed scale-ups, disruptors, and established tech brands helping them hire the revenue-generating talent that fuels their growth.

The Role

  • Build and scale your own permanent desk focused on commercial hires: sales, account management, GTM, partnerships, and customer success roles.
  • Partner with innovative AdTech, SaaS, and technology companies; ranging from early-stage start-ups to scaled market leaders
  • Leverage warm client relationships while identifying new commercial opportunities and winning new business
  • Own and manage the full recruitment cycle from job brief to offer stage, providing an exceptional client and candidate experience
  • Take ownership of your desk with full support from leadership, marketing, and operations
  • Collaborate closely with your team to cross-sell and ensure a joined-up, strategic approach to client delivery
  • Build long-term relationships with both clients and candidates, positioning yourself as a trusted expert in your space
  • Use AI tools (like ChatGPT) to improve speed, outreach quality, and operational efficiency—freeing up time to focus on high-value conversations.

Your Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ agency recruitment experience, within permanent recruitment
  • Sector knowledge in sales, GTM, marketing, media, ecommerce, or digital is preferred, but not essential
  • A commercial and strategic mindset with the hustle to win business and grow accounts
  • Confidence to sell into senior stakeholders and influence hiring decisions
  • Track record of building or scaling a successful desk independently
  • Brings pace, energy, and urgency—thriving in a high-activity, performance-led culture
  • Strong communicator with a relationship-first, consultative approach
  • You embrace new technology and tools - especially AI and are excited by how platforms like ChatGPT can streamline tasks, sharpen messaging and elevate your impact.
  • Forward thinking and adaptable, with a curiosity for emerging tech. You see AI as a teammate, not a threat and are keen to experiment and integrate new tools into your workflow.
