The Physical Security Senior Manager role sits within the GWS Regional Leadership Team and leads physical security for the Americas Region. You will own the regional execution of Expedia Group’s physical security services, programs, initiatives, and standards to protect our people, offices, and assets. In this role, you will:

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the regional physical security strategy, including program plans, budgets, metrics, and workflows that align with global standards and business priorities
  • Lead day‑to‑day security operations across multiple sites, including incident management, alarm response, investigations, and maintaining situational awareness of security issues in the region
  • Design, deploy, and oversee office security systems and physical access controls, ensuring standards, visitor controls, and equipment maintenance are in place and effective
  • Manage vendors and security officer staffing, driving performance against Service Level Agreements and ensuring appropriate coverage and quality across the region
  • Assess and reduce risk by leading security risk assessments, surveys, audits, and remediation plans, and by responding to emerging threats and security incidents
  • Serve as the regional physical security subject matter expert, partnering with cross‑functional teams to drive security awareness programs and advise leaders during planning and incidents

Requirements

  • You have 7+ years of experience in corporate / physical security, ideally supporting multiple sites or regions and taking on increasing levels of responsibility over time
  • You bring strong hands‑on expertise with physical security technologies (e.g., access control, CCTV, alarms, visitor management and related systems) and know how to run them at scale in a corporate environment
  • You have led incident and crisis response – including incident management, emergency response, and crisis management – and have some exposure to business continuity planning
  • You are a customer‑focused, results‑oriented leader with excellent communication and influencing skills, comfortable advising and partnering with stakeholders at all levels
  • You have experience leading teams and managing vendors/guard forces, holding them accountable to performance expectations and Service Level Agreements
  • You bring a growth mindset, make timely decisions with imperfect information, and are willing to travel within the region as needed to support sites and incidents
  • Please note that this role is only available in Seattle, in alignment with our flexible work model which requires employees to be in-office at least three days a week.
