Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Customer Acquisition will be responsible for developing, executing and tracking new user acquisition strategies and investment to drive user growth. This high-visibility role demands a highly data-driven and analytical approach, with a deep understanding of new user acquisition economics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in customer acquisition, CAC:LTV optimization, managing a large-budget and working cross-functionally.

Note: this role does not manage paid media channels, it owns the economic performance of all new-user incentives.

What You'll Do:

  • Own customer acquisition planning and investment, having full ownership of the new member offer and referral program, aligning with the company's growth objectives.
  • Manage the multi-million dollar monthly new user incentive budget, working closely with Finance and other leaders of investment channels to ensure full alignment.
  • Own reporting and performance tracking across core new user KPIs including but not limited to Conversion, CAC, LTV & Payback.
  • Present, deliver insights and engage with senior and executive leadership; translating insights into repeatable playbooks.
  • Maintain a clear line of sight on competitor activity and acquisition best practices.
  • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Media, Analytics, Retention, Finance, Commercial and Product.
  • Cultivate and maintain a performance-driven test & learn mindset, constantly demonstrably iterating and improving our approach.
  • Ensure all promotions meet regulatory and compliance standards, particularly in a highly regulated DFS/gaming environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in customer acquisition or growth marketing, ideally with hands-on experience managing the new user offer and/or referral program.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing & optimizing a large budget, balancing volume with user quality.
  • Experience in owning acquisition investment performance, with a deep grasp on new user investment best practices (core KPIs, ROI metrics, efficiency measures, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in scaling user bases effectively & efficiently.
  • Very strong numerical and analytical skills, plus experience with analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Passion for sports and a deep understanding of sports fans' motivations and behaviors.
