The Senior Analyst - Workday Talent and Performance is responsible for supporting all talent and performance management systems, ensuring a positive employee experience and alignment with United’s overall global talent strategy. The Sr Analyst applies technical knowledge and skills to support the talent technology systems, which include Workday, PeopleSoft and others. Must diagnose organizational needs and propose solutions to develop and deploy enhancements across the Talent technical stack.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for HR processes by applying both analytical and techno-functional expertise
  • Serve as the configuration resource for assigned functional area, ensure successful implementation of new functionality and processes within project timelines, and define options/solutions for how to best support business requirements
  • Ensure thorough documentation of conceptual design, and end-to-end processes while being accountable for unit testing, and defect management
  • Support and align adjacent technologies to create a coherent and connected employee experience
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) resources to successfully test solutions
  • Implement and monitor operational processes to meet evolving business needs
  • Partner with Talent Management COE to design and refine Performance and Talent Management processes, system requirements, workflows, and integrations
  • Continuously assess existing processes to identify optimization opportunities and strengthen controls, efficiency and use experience
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards and scorecards providing managers with actionable talent insights
  • Collaborate and shadow other HR Solution Consultants to understand upstream and downstream impacts and ensure cross functional alignment
  • Provide back-up support across other HR Solutions domains as necessary

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience including talent and performance management
  • 3+ years of experience with HR processes
  • Ability to work effectively in both structured and unstructured environments, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear functional requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • Workday Pro Certification in Talent and Performance
  • Experience administering listening and survey tools such as Peakon and Qualtrics
  • Understanding of touchpoints across Talent, Performance, Learning and broader HCM processes
