Electronics Engineering Tech 1 is responsible for the repair, assembly, modification, and maintenance of a variety of electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems. You will be working on highly complex systems and equipment that are mission critical for the platforms that they operate on.<br><br><strong>Duties<br><br></strong>Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, wires, and cables.<br><br>Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools and jigs. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct inspection points on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications<br><br>Responsible for repair, modification, and fabrication of cable assemblies, wiring harnesses and complex electronic assemblies.<br><br>Responsible for component replacement and Printed Circuit Board repairs.<br><br>Responsible for repair, modification and fabrication of Shop and Line Replaceable Units.<br><br>Properly utilizing general purpose test and measurement equipment and tools.<br><br>Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.<br><br>Identify required tools, supplies and resources needed to maintain the work area as serviceable.<br><br><strong>Auto req ID<br><br></strong>467921BR<br><br><strong>Minimum Education Required<br><br></strong>Bachelors<br><br><strong>Job_Category<br><br></strong>Supply Chain<br><br><strong>Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities<br><br></strong>Basic Qualifications for an SCA Engineering Technician 3<br><br><li><br><br></li>Minimum of a high school diploma or GED<br><br>Minimum of 4 years of repair capability experience (i.e., fabricating, repairing, and modifying complex electronic assemblies, circuit cards, shop or line replaceable units and wiring harnesses).<br><br>Must be able to obtain all required Soldering certifications and meet associated training requirements.<br><br>Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level of clearance, if required.<br><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong>Experience using controlled drawings and work instructions.<br><br>Experience with the usage, assembly and repair of military grade pins, connectors, and the associated tooling.<br><br>Ability to assemble and disassemble electronic assemblies using detailed drawings, work instructions or Technical Orders.<br><br>NGSkills<br><br>Primary Level Salary Range: $21.64 - $21.64<br><br>The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.<br><br>Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
