SAP GTS Deployment Lead

Kelly Services is currently seeking a SAP GTS Deployment Lead one of our top clients in New Brunswick or Titusville, NJ.

We are seeking an experienced SAP GTS Trade Compliance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support global trade compliance operations and SAP GTS deployment initiatives. This role will provide deep functional expertise in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), ensuring that international trade processes are compliant with global regulations while enabling efficient order-to-cash and supply chain operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SAP SD–GTS integration, export compliance processes, and global trade regulations. This position will work closely with trade compliance teams, business stakeholders, and IT teams to support system design, implementation, testing, and ongoing enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
SAP GTS Functional Expertise
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for SAP GTS Trade Compliance processes.
  • Configure and support SAP GTS Compliance Management and Customs Management modules.
  • Support SD–GTS integration to ensure compliance checks occur during sales order and delivery processing.
  • Maintain and optimize compliance processes including:
  • Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screening
  • Embargo checks
  • Export control validation
  • Legal control checks
Trade Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
  • Ensure adherence to global trade regulations and export control laws.
  • Provide guidance on trade compliance requirements including:
  • OFAC regulations
  • BIS / EAR export controls
  • ITAR regulations
  • International trade sanctions
  • Maintain country-specific compliance rules and product classifications in SAP GTS.
System Implementation & Integration
  • Support SAP GTS implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional system design and configuration.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support system enhancements and RICEFW development.
  • Assist with data migration and system integration with SAP SD, MM, and Logistics Execution modules.
Testing, Deployment & Support
  • Develop and execute test scripts for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support go-live preparation, cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare support.
  • Troubleshoot SD–GTS integration issues, IDoc processing errors, and compliance alerts.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 6+ years of SAP GTS experience in trade compliance and international trade operations
  • Strong experience with SAP SD–GTS integration
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screening
  • Embargo checks
  • Export control validation
  • Trade compliance monitoring
  • Experience supporting SAP implementations or global deployments
  • Strong understanding of global trade compliance regulations
