Sunbelt Modular is the largest wholesale commercial modular manufacturers in the United States. We currently have 15 plants in eight states with plans to expand into other markets. The corporate office is in Phoenix, Arizona. Position Objective: The BIM Librarian is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining Sunbelt’s centralized Revit family library and related digital assets across all locations. This individual ensures consistency, accessibility, and version control of BIM content through Autodesk Docs and the Desktop Connector environment. The BIM Librarian will work closely with the BIM Manager and drafting teams to standardize content, improve workflows, and support adoption of Sunbelt’s BIM standards. This position may be remote, onsite, or hybrid. Annual salary is commensurate with experience between $70 - $85k. Full suite of benefits including 401k. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Library Management: maintain and organize the centralized Revit family library hosted on Autodesk Docs including templates, detail components, tags, title blocks, and shared parameters • Version Control: ensure all content is properly named, categorized, and archived according to the Sunbelt file structure standards • Quality Assurance: review and test new families for accuracy, performance, and parameter alignment before they are added to the live library • Collaboration Support: coordinate with the BIM Manager and factory drafting teams to gather feedback, identify missing content, and maintain compatibility across projects • Documentation: maintain a clear reference system for locating and requesting Revit content; update documentation when changes occur • Training & Support: assist new users in locating and loading approved families and templates; provide light documentation or quick reference guides • Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to simplify folder structure, improve file organization, and enhance workflow efficiency • Other duties as assigned This position is also expected to: • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times • Provide outstanding customer service to internal clients • Be very detail oriented and well organized • Possess outstanding communication skills and interpersonal skills • Be skilled at problem solving and analysis • Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and IT personnel • Function well as part of a team Qualifications and Educational Requirements • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience • Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit family creation and parameter standards • Familiarity with Autodesk Docs and Desktop Connector file management workflows Job Requirements • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a workstation and working on a computer • Frequent use of hands and arms to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and drafting tools; repetitive hand/wrist motions • Ability to view and interpret detailed drawings, schematics and specifications; ability to work on a computer monitor for extended periods of time; close vision required for precision work • Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and internal clients • Able to successfully pass a criminal background check (following a conditional offer of employment) Sunbelt Modular, Inc. is committed to a work environment that is inclusive to all and free of discrimination.
