Job Title: Team Associate (must be able to work some Sundays 10:00AM to 3:00PM)

Previous shipping services experience is a major PLUS.

Looking for someone long-term and reliable.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Team Associate at The UPS Store. The Team Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store by providing exceptional customer service, handling various tasks efficiently, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

○ Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, providing accurate information about our services and products.

○ Process shipping, packing, and printing orders with precision and attention to detail.

○ Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

2. Operational Support:

○ Operate computerized shipping and point-of-sale systems to process transactions accurately.

○ Pack and ship packages using appropriate materials and methods to ensure items are delivered safely and securely.

○ Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking supplies and performing routine store maintenance tasks.

3. Product Knowledge:

○ Familiarize yourself with the range of services and products offered by The UPS Store, including shipping options, printing services, and packaging materials.

○ Provide recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences, upselling additional services or products when appropriate.

Qualifications:

● High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.

● Previous customer service experience in a retail or service-oriented environment is advantageous.

● Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

● Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems; ability to learn new software applications quickly.

● Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
