We are sharing a specialised remote opportunity for Visual Design Experts with strong Excel template design experience. This project supports the development of high-quality spreadsheet templates intended for real-world business and productivity use.

Experts in this role will apply their visual design expertise to create polished, professional spreadsheet templates used for planning, budgeting, tracking, dashboards, and business workflows. The focus of this work is purely visual and aesthetic spreadsheet design, rather than UX or product design.

Selected experts will design clean, visually structured templates that are both functional and visually appealing for business users.

Key Responsibilities

Design visually polished Excel spreadsheet templates for professional use
Create structured templates such as planners, dashboards, trackers, budgets, and invoices
Apply strong layout, formatting, and visual hierarchy principles to spreadsheet design
Develop templates suitable for real-world productivity and business workflows
Ensure templates are visually clear, easy to use, and professionally structured
Produce spreadsheet assets that are polished, structured, and sellable for business users

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

3–5+ years of full-time professional experience in design-related roles
A college degree or higher
Strong visual and aesthetic design skills focused on layout, hierarchy, and clarity
Professional experience using Microsoft Excel for structured template creation
Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing spreadsheet templates for productivity use
Ability to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week
Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported)

Preferred qualifications may include:

A core background in visual design rather than primarily UX or product design
Demonstrated experience designing business tools such as dashboards, planners, and financial trackers
Strong understanding of professional spreadsheet usability and visual organisation
