Experience with software programming in the languages used for National Airspace Systems (NAS) and NAS support systems. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and skilled individual who can work independently, with minimal supervision, and in a team environment. You will bring a strong background in development of mobile applications; API and performance testing experience is a plus! Role Requirements: • Experience and proficiency with software programming in the languages used for the NAS and NAS supported systems, such as C# and .NET. Citizenship/Residency Requirements: • Must be able to pass the Federal Background Investigation and obtain the FAA Public Trust security clearance through one of the following methods: • Be a US Citizen, have a US Green Card, or a Non-immigrant Work Authorization (VISA) OR • Have resided in the US for three (3) consecutive years. Relocation RequirementYou must reside or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance to the work location. Responsibilities: • Provide 2nd Level Engineering support for RMLS IOS devices and applications • Knowledge of procedural requirements, real-time design and development, testing and interface of software and computer hardware systems. • Knowledge and experience in software development and test under Agile methodology. • Develop new mobile technology and modify the structure of existing software products to ensure the legacy applications remain functionally compatible with new products deployed in a phased approach. • Attend and may lead meetings, design reviews, working groups and briefings. • Report issues, problems and recommended solutions. • Performs other related duties in line with tasks assignments. • Collaborate with agile teams to develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications in alignment with FAA requirements. • Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing to ensure software reliability, security, and performance in real-time environments. • Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing. • Provide detailed reports on test results and recommendations for improvements. • Assist with manual testing as needed. • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives within an Agile team environment. • Provide feedback on the testing process, suggesting areas of improvement in automation practices. • Assist with RMLS troubleshooting and Help Desk Support. • Perform other duties that are in line with the task assignments as needed. Qualifications: • B.S. of Computer Science, Math, or related technical field field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and twelve (12) years of related work experience with computer science or math OR • Master's Degree in any field and nine (9) years of related work experience in computer science, statistics or math • PhD or Doctoral in a related field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. Technical Proficiencies: • C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS • Database development in Oracle/SQL. • Proficient in Reactive Native • Writing test documentation, such as test cases/procedures and reports. • Experience in: • Mobile testing with a strong focus on iOS/Android applications. • Mobile app release cycles, provisioning profiles, and deployment pipeline. • Have strong attention to details. • Ability to: • Work independently, as well as on a team. • Troubleshoot and isolate defects within a complex software system. • Communicate effectively through verbal and written communication. Preferred Skills • Experience with Swift UI • Experience with MAUI • Experience with Python • Experience with PHP. • Knowledge of Apache/IIS web server • Knowledge of IOS Simulators, and iOS debugging tools This position requires work to be performed at the William J Hughes Technical Center with a standard work schedule and does not require travel at this moment.
