Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Retail Insights, LLC is offering an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Domo BI Analyst / Data Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining BI solutions, focusing on dashboards and ad hoc reports for business analysis, while also guiding the Reporting team on best practices. Responsibilities • Work directly with analysts and business team members to understand the analytical needs of the organization and coordinate with IT and other technical teams to develop reporting solutions to serve those needs • Work with analysts and business team members to define dashboard and report requirements • Develop, implement, and maintain reporting solutions for monitoring and analyzing business performance with an emphasis on interactive DOMO dashboards • Architect and manage the DOMO data environment • Ensure completeness, correctness, and timeliness of all published dashboards and reports through rigorous monitoring and data validation • Ensure that all dashboards and reports adhere to data governance policies • Participate in designing and architecting BI infrastructure including process, software, and hardware level • Model the behaviors expected of all Retail Insights Employees including a drive for results with a clear bias for action; high levels of maturity and professionalism; giving, receiving and responding to feedback effectively; a high service orientation; and clear commitments to diversity, inclusion, a respectful workplace, and integrity • Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization • Model team commitment by meeting deadlines; and by being cooperative, collaborative, and flexible Skills • Previous DOMO experience in a professional environment • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related discipline • 4 years experience in database, data warehouse, business intelligence, or software development • 2 years specific to dashboard designing using DOMO, SiSense, Tableau, arenaflex BI, SAP Lumira, Tibco Spotfire, or similar technology • Experience as technical lead on BI projects in a complex environment • Expert knowledge with DOMO • Expert level knowledge and experience with enterprise business intelligence and database tools (e.g. SiSense, DOMO, PowerBI, Qlikview, Tableau) and SQL Server including mastery in all aspects of dashboard development and management • Expert level of self-motivation and resourcefulness to drive new BI projects and dashboard enhancements and help ensure the integrity all published data • Proficient ability to perform in a team environment • Expert working knowledge of SQL and a scripting language • Expert verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex technical topics to diverse audiences using the English Language • Proficient ability to work in a detail oriented environment • Expert analytical, problem solving, pragmatism, and organization skills • Working ability with advanced Excel VBA, macros, v-lookup, formulas, and pivoting skills • Working ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English • Proficient ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others; conducts working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization • Proficient ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals • Possess proficient analytical, problem solving and decision making skills • Demonstrated capacity for gathering and scrutinizing data to identify issues, opportunities, patterns, and sustainable business solutions • Ability to recognize discrepancies/errors in written/recorded data/information including the ability to initiate and respond to work errors in a professional manner, working collaboratively and cooperatively with others • Familiarity with Domo Everywhere and App Studio Benefits • 401k • Health insurance plans Company Overview • We specialize in the simplification of Big Data into Actionable Insight.
