Job Summary

IV Nutrition is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and joyful Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing wellness clinic in Los Gatos as a clinical lead. This is a hands-on Clinic Director role based on performance and experience at the heart of our IV therapy operations — you will be responsible for independently mixing IV nutrients and hydrating fluids, administering and overseeing all IV therapy treatments, leading and mentoring our nursing and support staff, and ensuring every client receives a safe, high-quality, and memorable wellness experience.

Unlike a traditional hospital setting, this role blends hands-on clinical excellence with team leadership, client education, and front desk support — all in a calm, upbeat, spa-like environment. If you are a licensed California RN with IV therapy experience who leads with energy, brings joy to your team, and genuinely loves working with people, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Love About This Role

  • Day shifts only — no night shifts
  • Part-time and full-time options available — flexible to fit your life
  • Spa-like, upbeat clinic environment
  • A fun, close-knit team that genuinely supports each other
  • Opportunity to grow with a fast-expanding wellness brand

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently mix and prepare IV nutrient formulas and hydrating fluids per physician-approved protocols prior to administration
  • Administer and oversee IV nutrition and hydration therapies, ensuring safe, high-quality care from start to finish
  • Perform comprehensive client assessments, start peripheral IVs, monitor active treatments, and manage post-infusion follow-up
  • Inspect IV insertion sites, change dressings, adjust IV flow rates, and remove peripheral IV catheters as needed
  • Identify contraindications to IV therapy for each client prior to treatment initiation
  • Assess each client’s physical health including vital signs, physical assessment, and mental status
  • Monitor client response to treatment throughout the session and post-infusion
  • Communicate any adverse reactions or clinical concerns promptly to the Medical Director
  • Manage and prevent infections through strict adherence to sterile technique and clinic infection control protocols
  • Lead, train, and mentor LVN, nursing support, and clinical technician staff
  • Conduct regular coaching, goal-setting, and professional development conversations with team members
  • Support training and certification of staff for nutrition infusion therapies and clinic protocols
  • Support specimen collection and handling for on-site wellness testing panels, per your certification and clinic protocols
  • Educate clients on IV Nutrition’s full service menu — IV drips, injections, blood testing — including benefits and which options best match their wellness goals
  • Conduct clinic tours and present membership and service packages to new and returning clients
  • Manage the full appointment calendar: booking, confirming, rescheduling, cancellations, and follow-up outreach
  • Answer all calls, texts, and voicemails promptly and professionally
  • Process payments, settle accounts, and manage the cash drawer accurately

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
  • Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in a clinical setting with IV therapy experience required
  • Vascular access or infusion experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent IV catheter placement skills with a high first-attempt success rate
  • Experience in a med spa, infusion clinic, concierge wellness center, or outpatient setting is a strong plus
We Train You — You Bring the Energy
