<p>MedStar Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Pediatrics team! Our nurses are passionate about providing excellent care to our pediatric patients, and we are looking for someone who is dedicated to making a positive impact in their life. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an inpatient pediatric setting, as well as a valid RN license in the state of Maryland. We are looking for a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills, an ability to work with a wide variety of patients, and excellent problem-solving skills. The successful candidate must also be organized and able to manage time efficiently. We are looking forward to meeting our new Registered Nurse and welcoming them to our MedStar Health family! Responsibilities: • Provide excellent care to pediatric patients • Build and maintain positive relationships with patients and families • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team • Follow established protocols and procedures for patient care • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the physician • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed • Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards • Document patient treatment and care accurately and completely • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and flexibility in the face of changing circumstances • Manage time efficiently to ensure timely completion of duties</p><p>MedStar Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
