About the Role

We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support quality management and compliance for infrastructure and construction projects. The role is responsible for ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with project engineers, site teams, consultants, and clients to maintain high standards of quality assurance and quality control throughout project execution.


Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Quality Control

• Ensure all construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards

• Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and compliance

• Monitor implementation of Project Quality Plan and Quality Management System


Documentation & Submissions

• Prepare and submit method statements, inspection test plans (ITP), and material submissions

• Maintain quality records, test reports, and documentation

• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality records


Non-Conformance Management

• Identify quality issues and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when required

• Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to implement corrective actions

• Track and monitor closure of NCRs


Testing & Inspection

• Arrange site inspections and material testing in accordance with project requirements

• Coordinate with laboratories, consultants, and authorities on testing matters

• Review test results and ensure compliance with specifications


Coordination & Reporting

• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants on quality matters

• Support quality audits and inspections

• Prepare quality reports and assist in improving quality management practices


Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline

• Minimum 2-5 years experience in QA/QC for construction or infrastructure projects is preferred

• Familiar with quality management systems and construction standards

• Good knowledge of inspection procedures and documentation requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Able to work independently in a site-based environment

• Fresh graduates with strong interest in QA/QC are welcome to apply


Language Requirement

• Proficiency in English and Mandarin as the role requires liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients, senior management, and project stakeholders
