<strong>The Project</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> supports the Portfolio Manager with complete oversight for the financials and operations of the assigned location to ensure 24/7 professional parking operations support. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Project Manager will support the programs and initiatives originating from our regional and home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned location. This position supports the City of Inglewood, CA, Parking Operations location.<br><br>LAZ Parking is looking for a qualified candidate who possesses strong leadership skills to serve as a Project Manager; Our ideal candidate has experience in employee relations, managing technology, and is eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment. <br><br>The assigned location will be in the City of Inglewood, where LAZ provides parking enforcement services - including and not limited to traffic control events for events at SoFi Stadium, The Forum, Intuit Dome, and other locations in Inglewood, Inglewood School District crossing guard program, and our customer service desk. This position will report to the Portfolio Manager. <br><br>This is an exempt position, and the ideal candidate should expect to have a flexible schedule. The expectation is that the Project Manager can be flexible in schedule to meet operational needs. This will require occasionally working on the weekend and/or evenings. <br><br><strong>Principal Job Duties:</strong><br><br><ul> <li>Oversee and coordinate municipal parking and traffic programs, ensuring compliance with City ordinances, state regulations, and public safety standards</li> <li>Manage multi-departmental coordination between Public Works, Police, and City Administrative offices to streamline parking enforcement and traffic management operations.</li> <li>Develop, monitor, and implement strategic operational plans to improve service delivery and align with citywide goals.</li> <li>Oversee contract compliance and ensure all vendors and contractors meet performance metrics and service expectations.</li> <li>Lead data-driven performance evaluations using enforcement metrics, parking utilization reports, and revenue analyses to guide operational decisions.</li> <li>Implement and oversee technology-driven solutions (e.g., automated citation systems, smart meters, enforcement apps) to enhance efficiency and transparency.</li> <li>Coordinate emergency response logistics and contingency planning for traffic operations during major city events, construction, or emergencies.</li> <li>Manage community relations initiatives by responding to inquiries and resolving issues from residents, businesses, and city stakeholders.</li> <li>Support budget forecasting and resource allocation to ensure financial efficiency and sustainability of municipal operations.</li> <li>Collaborate with City staff and external agencies on infrastructure projects, signage updates, and traffic control planning.</li> <li>Participate in policy review and procedural development, recommending improvements to enhance compliance, safety, and customer service.</li> <li>Directly supervise facility managers, enforcement supervisors, and field leads, providing mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities.</li> <li>Facilitate staff training programs on city regulations, customer service, safety, and technology use.</li> <li>Responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships and business retention.</li></ul><ul> <li>Lead, direct, and develop team of employees to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives, while embodying and using LAZ Parking's culture as a guideline.</li> <li>Responsible for hiring & identifying high-potential employees to support the organization's continued growth.</li> <li>Preparation of budgets/monthly reviews of profit/loss for assigned location.</li> <li>Organize and narrate parking management skills for Facilities Managers and the supervisory team.</li> <li>Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and our client.</li> <li>Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual financial and operational reports as required.</li> <li>Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation.</li> <li>Additional related duties as assigned.</li></ul><br><strong>Education:</strong><br><br><ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.</li></ul><br><strong>Experience: </strong><br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.</li></ul><ul><li>At least 5+ years of experience working in employee relations in a supervisor/manager role for a large team (10 or more employees).</li></ul><ul><li>Highly proficient in Office 365 suite applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).</li></ul><ul><li>Able to learn and become proficient in other software applications.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in overseeing technology and implementing initiatives that streamline existing processes using technology. </li></ul><ul><li>Preferred, but not required:</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with City of Inglewood area.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in parking operations. </li></ul><br><strong>Skills:
