Description

Deerfield Packaging is looking for hardworking, self-motivated individuals to assist with day-to-day production tasks and organization in production

Job Characteristics- The Main function of the job will be to assist the machine operators’ tasks needed to complete production goals. Includes but not limited to entry level machine operation, boxing, packaging, , grinding, ending bars and general labor assistance in the production departments.

Required Skills

Willing to take initiative and identify work needs

Close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Able to work with a team to accomplish company goals

Strict attention to safety procedures and guidelines including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE)

Willingness to keep and maintain a clean and safe work environment

Adherence to attendance policy

Required Education/Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education/Experience

1+ year in a manufacturing atmosphere would be helpful but not required.

Additionally, workers will be exposed to a large warehouse environment and may experience loud volumes or high/low temperatures, based on current weather. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and may be required to stand for up to 3 hours at a time.
