We are a small, locally owned printing company based in Andover, Kansas, proudly serving businesses and customers across the Country. We specialize in high-quality commercial printing and are looking for a skilled, hands-on professional to join our close-knit team.

Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Pre-Press / Graphic Designer who can handle the full customer-to-delivery workflow. This is not a remote or entry-level role — you will be directly involved in customer communication, file preparation, press-ready setup, and seeing every job through production to final delivery.

Key Job Duties

  • Work directly with customers to create, revise, and finalize artwork
  • Obtain customer approvals on designs and proofs
  • Nest approved art files for efficient press sheets
  • Prepare complete print-ready files (imposition, trapping, color management, RIP, etc.)
  • Follow each job through production on our printing presses
  • Coordinate with press operators and finishing staff to ensure quality and on-time delivery
  • Deliver finished jobs to customers or arrange shipping/pickup

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in pre-press and graphic design for a printing environment
  • Direct hands-on experience with printing presses (offset, digital, or both)
  • Strong working knowledge of nesting/imposition, color separation, and press-file preparation
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and pre-press software
  • Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small-shop environment where you wear multiple hats
