What We Do

Shade It sells premium motorized window shades direct to consumers under the Rolli brand. We're a lean, fast-moving team based in Austin, TX. Our email and SMS program is a core revenue driver — and we need someone to own the production side of it.

The Role

You'll be responsible for building and maintaining email and SMS flows in Klaviyo, and producing the creative assets that go inside them. This is a hands-on execution role — copy and strategy will be provided; your job is to make it work and make it look great.

What You'll Do

- Build and manage Klaviyo flows (Welcome, Post-Purchase, Abandoned Cart, Win-Back) — logic, timing, conditional splits, and SMS branches

- Set up and QA individual email and SMS sends from copy documents we provide

- Format emails in Klaviyo using our templates: clean, on-brand, mobile-optimized

- Produce simple creative assets (banners, in-email graphics, promotional visuals) in Canva or similar

- Maintain flow health — monitor open rates, click rates, and deliverability; flag anything that needs attention

Keep our template library organized and up to date

What We're Looking For

- Solid hands-on Klaviyo experience (flows, segments, conditional logic, SMS — not just campaigns)

- Eye for clean, professional email design — you know what looks good and what looks sloppy

- Comfortable in Canva or equivalent for quick asset production

- Detail-oriented: you catch broken links, wrong merge tags, and formatting issues before they go out

Communicates clearly and hits deadlines without hand-holding

Nice to Have

- Experience with home goods, DTC, or interior/lifestyle brands

- Familiarity with Klaviyo A/B testing and analytics

- Familiarity with HubSpot

Compensation

- Hourly, commensurate with experience. Looking for someone available for a quick audit and turnaround of a defined project; possibility for longer term part time hire for the right fit
