This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented remote Bookkeeper/PA and Office Administrator to provide reliable support for an NGO and consultancy. This role is ideal for an experienced Bookkeeper who is confident working independently and managing the full bookkeeping function through to trial balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting

  • Payments of suppliers

  • Go over confidential contracts

  • Project administration

  • General admin and diary management of the CEO

  • Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance

  • Creditors management, including capturing and reconciling supplier invoices

  • Debtors management and follow-up

  • Processing and issuing invoices

  • Loading payments for approval

  • Bank and account reconciliations

  • Maintaining accurate and well-organised financial records

  • Liaising with the external accountant when required and preparing handover documentation


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ bookkeeping experience - experience with an NGO an advantage
  • Excellent working knowledge of Sage (essential)
  • Communicate well
  • Tech savvy will be using Clickup, Whatsapp and other project apps
  • Strong proficiency in Excel essential
  • Proven experience managing full bookkeeping to trial balance
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Payments and invoicing experience
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
  • Professional, reliable, and trustworthy when handling confidential financial information
  • Efficient with feedback
