Are you looking for supplemental income? Want to work from home and make your own schedule? K12 Tutoring is growing fast and seeking qualified tutors to join our online platform for immediate availability. We partner with school districts, individual schools, and families directly through our website to provide high-quality online tutoring. We are currently seeking certified ELA, Reading, and Math instructors with daytime availability. Tutors will work with 2nd-4th-grade students in small groups, focusing on phonics and reading comprehension. Additional math groups are available for students in grades K-12. Please note: There is no guaranteed minimum number of sessions, and availability may vary. To apply, fill out interest form at this link We are currently looking for tutors with the following qualifications: • Florida-certified teachers preferred • Experience working with students in English Language Arts (ELA) or Math • Proficiency in 2nd and 3rd grade reading instruction preferred • Grades 1-5 with science of reading training preferred • Math 6-12 experience preferred • Daytime availability 8 am – 5 pm Eastern Time Zone preferred • Online teaching experience preferred • English Language Learners (ELL) experience preferred • Experience using formative assessments to track student progress preferred • Immediate availability preferred To be considered: • You must be a teacher with an active state teacher certification • Pass a criminal background check • Demonstrate mastery of the platform tools • Live in the United States or US territories Once you're accepted: • Complete a K12 Tutoring training course • Create your tutor profile • Set your availability • List the courses you're qualified to tutor • Comply with community guidelines Once onboarding steps are successfully completed, you can start receiving student bookings in either 1-on-1 or small group formats. There are also opportunities for regular, recurring sessions through our district partners.
