Position Summary

The Division of Student life is accepting applications for the Office Assistant 1 position to support the Assistant Vice President for Health & Wellness and work closely with the Wellness Team. In this role, you will perform entry-level clerical and office support work, including processing transactions and maintaining records in a variety of organizational settings. Any given assignment may encompass a broad or narrow range of activities.

As Office Assistant 1, your responsibilities include:
  • Provide general office support for the AVP for Health & Wellness
  • Perform basic responsibilities including calculations, keyboarding, document preparations, record keeping, filing, mail, inventory, and data entry and verification.
  • Work closely with the Operations Staff Assistant to assist as appropriate in HR, purchasing, travel, and budget processes.
  • As needed and as directed, contact various internal and external parties to obtain information.
  • Enter data and information into and retrieve data and information from computerized systems.
