<p><!-- wp:freeform --></p> <h2>Museum Events Manager – London</h2> <p><strong>Museum Events Manager<br />Full-time, On-site<br />Fixed-term (until June 2027)<br />£35,928 per annum<br />Application deadline: 9am on Monday, 23 March 2026</strong></p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>The British Museum is looking for an exceptional <strong>Events Manager</strong> with experience in museum, heritage and/or arts environments to join our Events team and play a central role in planning and delivering world‑class Museum-hosted and external events. You will take the lead on delivering high‑level, strategically important events and manage relationships with sponsors and corporate members, ensuring their events are delivered seamlessly and to the highest standard.</p> <p>You will help support the events around the <a href="https://www.britishmuseum.org/exhibitions/bayeux-tapestry">Bayeux Tapestry</a> and <a href="https://www.britishmuseum.org/about-us/press/press-releases/announcing-inaugural-british-museum-ball">British Museum Ball</a>, working closely with internal departments to ensure a seamless delivery. The main priorities over the next year will include organising events for our corporate clients in relation to the Bayeux Tapestry.
