Lead Mural Concept Designer
Pattern Studios is a creative studio specialising in murals, brand activations, and visual content for businesses.

As we continue to grow, we are expanding our design team and are looking for a Lead Mural Concept Designer to take ownership of the conceptual side of our mural campaigns.

The Role
As Lead Mural Concept Designer, you will be responsible for developing mural concepts and creative direction for brand-led projects.

You will work closely with:
Clients and brand teams to understand vision and objectives
The Pattern Studios creative lead to shape campaign direction
Our installation team, who will execute the final mural based on your concept

Your role is to translate brand identity, narrative, and strategy into strong visual concepts that work at scale in physical spaces.

Key Responsibilities
Conceptualise mural imagery based on brand and campaign guidelines
Develop visual ideas that align with brand tone, audience, and cultural context
Communicate concepts clearly through sketches, layouts, and written rationale
Collaborate directly with clients to help refine and realise their vision
Work with the installation team to ensure concepts translate effectively into final murals
Maintain a high standard of creative quality and consistency across projects

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:
Has a strong understanding of branding and visual storytelling
Thinks conceptually, not just aesthetically
Can interpret briefs and turn abstract ideas into clear visual direction
Understands how murals function in real world environments
Is confident communicating ideas to both creatives and clients
Has strong taste, judgment, and cultural awareness


Experience with murals, illustration, graphic design, or large-scale artwork is a plus, but conceptual thinking and brand understanding are essential.
