We are seeking a Mobile Applications Developer to join our project team at a major Federal agency to help design, develop, and implement solutions in anticipation of an upcoming award.

U.S. citizenship is required for this role. In addition, the selected applicant must submit to a government background investigation and be favorably adjudicated before their first day.

The selected candidate will ideally live within commuting distance of Washington, D.C. as there may be occasional onsite work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments
  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
  • Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable developing and maintaining technical documentation and related artifacts
  • Analyzes and studies complex system requirements developing, modifying and estimating the level of effort to complete user stories during sprint planning sessions
  • Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation
  • Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and CASE tools
  • Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Over 8 years of application experience
  • Experience with Angular, and Node.js
  • Experience with Mobile Application Development and maintenance
  • Experience planning major technology assignments and recommends major changes affecting project growth and success
  • Experience applying technical expertise across multiple project assignments
  • Complete experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) support, coding application logic via various programming languages and Integrated Development Environments (IDE), and deploying applications via various Application Server platforms
  • Experience handling multiple tasks, changing priorities, and timely action
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile Scrum teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • AWS Certification at Associate or Professional level

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related preferred)
