Hourly rate: $22.50 / hour + plus shift premiums of an extra $0.75/hour (applicable between 6pm-12am) and $1.00/hour (applicable between 12am-6am) and benefits.

3 Positions: Afternoon shift

Afternoon shift (1:00 pm – 9:30pm) Monday – Friday

(Shift start times can vary based on production needs)

ALL shifts are 8.5 hours, but can be 10-12 hour shifts based on need.

Our Brampton facility located at 379 Orenda Rd, Brampton ON L6T 1G6 is now hiring for Mixers in the production department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Scale ingredients according to formulation.

· Loading and unloading ingredients in mixing bowl.

· Operate and maintain mixing equipment.

· Retrieve boxes/bags of ingredients, replenish ingredient bins as needed.

· Perform required testing in accordance with food safety.

· Complete pre-operational startup paperwork.

· Maintain accurate and timely record keeping.

· Maintain general cleanliness of the work area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Manufacturing experience preferred (food manufacturing is an asset).

· Experience operating machinery in a food manufacturing facility is an asset.

· Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling, and repetitive movements.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to follow directions of Supervisory staff.

· Ability to identify and communicate any found defects or products not meeting standard.

· Must be able to work Day shift (including weekends, if need arises).
