Your role, your impact

As a Microsoft D365 F&O Enterprise Architecture Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping enterprise solutions that drive real business impact. In this client-facing role, you’ll lead the design of Microsoft Dynamics 365 system architecture tailored to client needs. You’ll oversee 4 to 6 active projects, providing expert guidance on installation, maintenance, and upgrades, configuring the system, supporting data migration, and ensuring a secure, high-availability platform. Your leadership will ensure every solution is not only technically sound but also strategically aligned with client goals.

Travel to client sites may be requited up to 25% of the time.


Your day-to-day

  • Provide functional guidance on complex implementations;
  • Participate in presales conversations, particularly as projects approach the Statement of Work (SOW) phase;
  • Support seamless transitions from Sales to Service teams;
  • Stay current on new features, functionalities, and industry-specific trends across sectors such as Process, Discrete, Food, Pharma, Chemical, and Building Materials;
  • Ensure project overviews and audits;
  • Conduct fit/gap reviews during the initiation phase;
  • Carry out the Conference Room Pilot (CRP) and readiness assessments;
  • Review complex customizations;
  • Ensure solutioning and support for project-specific challenges;
  • Offer mentorship and guidance on projects staffed by junior consultants.

Keys to your success

  • Bachelor of Science (BS);
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in an MS F&O environment in any capacity;
  • Practical experience with multi-phase, globally delivered F&O implementation projects;
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 in on-premises implementations and environments;
  • Experience within the manufacturing vertical: Process, Discrete, Food, Pharma, Chemical, Building Materials;
  • Proficiency in highly available, scalable Dynamics 365 infrastructure architecture;
  • Proficiency in disaster recovery/business continuity infrastructure patterns, practices and implementation;
  • Familiarity with relational database concepts;
  • Strong technical architecture and leadership skills with the ability to handle multiple activities in a dynamic and energizing environment;
  • Excellent team building, mentoring, and leadership abilities with a strong client services orientation;
  • Excellent presentation, communication, leadership, and client development skills to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups and/or board of directors.

  • French: Proficient
  • English: Proficient

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a regular basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec.
