Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths, Science, and English Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The successful candidate will deliver personalised tutoring sessions, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and progress. Duties

  • Deliver engaging and tailored tutoring sessions in Maths, Science, and English to students of various ages and abilities.
  • Assess individual student needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly to maximise understanding and retention.
  • Develop customised lesson plans, exercises, and resources to support curriculum objectives.
  • Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Support students with special educational needs by implementing appropriate strategies and accommodations.
  • Maintain a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to participate actively in their learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and colleagues regarding student development and areas for improvement.
  • Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and lesson plans for organisational purposes.

Experience

  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching Maths, Science, or English is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with children or young learners across different age groups is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and strategies to support diverse learning needs is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for explaining concepts clearly and building rapport with students.
