Our Client, a Material Engineering company, is looking for a Material Handler Coordinator / Warehouse Focal – RVN for their Austin, TX location.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Investigates vendor shipments. Performs inventory count to verify and maintain inventory. Locates, audits, and transfers kits or materials as required in preparation for storage.
  • Receives parts and updates inventory records or shortage reports; will perform transactions in SAP.
  • Coordinates processing of non-conformances.
  • Under direction from management, prevents accumulation of excess material. Moves stock as required.
  • Trains / certifies with other material Coordinators as required. Follows documented business processes to disposition variance material.
  • Operates powered industrial vehicles as assigned; may operate pallet jack, electric pallet jack and/or forklift.
  • Inspect, identify, report Receipt Variance Notice (RVN) on inbound material from vendors/suppliers.
  • Interface with procurement business units to understand their requirements and align processing procedures accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of variance materials utilizing Logistics Tracking System (LTS), including accurate reporting, steps, and outcomes of quality notifications.
  • Implement and adhere to strict safety protocols in handling and processing semiconductor materials, prioritizing the well-being of personnel and the integrity of materials.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processing workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
  • Provide supportive feedback to adjacent teams to improve accurate reporting of variance materials.
 
Requirements:
  • Has developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures to carry out assigned tasks.
  • Possess strong organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to change in process requirements.
  • Ability to work proficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to adapt to evolving processes and technologies.
  • Has a basic understanding of inventory management concepts and practices.
  • Experience with supply chain fundamentals and Logistics processes.
  • Commitment to quality mindset.
  • Basic Knowledge in financial terminology related to inventory cost management.
  • Ability to follow established procedures for documenting and reporting trends.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using basic business software such as Microsoft Office 365.
  • Basic knowledge in ERP inventory system, SAP preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling quality records.
  • Independent problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve variance material.
  • Impacts the quality of own work and its contribution to the team.
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Team player, ability to collaborate with colleagues to complete daily duties.
  • Basic communication skills to pass information to customers, leaders, team members, and vendors.
  • Willingness to learn new processes within company.
  • Physical Demands:
  • standing/walking - Ability to stand/walk 80% - 95% of shift
  • some sitting based on area in accepted role
  • carrying up to 95% of shift
  • reaching up to 95% of shift
  • pushing/pulling up to 95% of shift
  • lifting - Ability to lift up to 35lbs for one person or Ability to lift up to 75lbs for two person
