Marketing Ops & AI Intern at SpotHero:

As a Marketing Ops & AI Intern, you'll be part of SpotHero's Marketing team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented problem solver who is excited about the intersection of marketing, automation, and artificial intelligence. You'll help explore, select an approach and implement AI-powered solutions that improve marketing efficiency, creativity, and performance, working closely with the marketing team and gaining exposure to strategic initiatives led by SpotHero's Chief Marketing Officer and creative leads in the department.

What You'll Do:
  • Support the selection, development and implementation of an AI-driven solution within the marketing team
  • Explore ways AI can enhance creative development, including generating marketing assets and ad variations
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to identify opportunities to automate processes and improve workflows
  • Research, evaluate, and test emerging AI tools that could improve creative outcomes.
  • Help document processes and share learnings that can inform future marketing innovation at SpotHero
Who You Are:
  • Hands-on and comfortable exploring technical tools and new technologies
  • Curious and eager to learn about how AI can transform marketing workflows
  • Driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently on projects
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Data-driven and interested in using insights to inform decisions
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
What You Bring:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field OR have relevant technical experience
  • Exposure to programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
  • Interest and experience with artificial intelligence, automation, or machine learning applications
  • Familiarity with generative AI platforms is a plus

Compensation in Illinois:
  • $20/hour; 40 hours a week
