Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and facilities. This role requires a strong background in construction, plumbing, welding, and mechanical systems, with the ability to work independently and efficiently on diverse maintenance projects across our facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical components
  • Repair and troubleshoot mechanical issues using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints
  • Conduct construction, remodeling, carpentry, and assembly tasks as needed for facility improvements or repairs
  • Handle plumbing repairs including pipe threading, pipe fitting, and leak repairs
  • Operate heavy equipment and perform heavy lifting safely according to safety protocols
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately
  • Assist with construction site projects including remodeling or expansion efforts
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records and logs for all work performed
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction, plumbing (including pipe threading), welding, carpentry, or handyman work
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to perform basic HVAC repairs is preferred
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly and remodeling projects
  • Capable of performing heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during repairs or installations
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (preferred) for transportation needs on-site or between locations
  • Construction site experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
