Sun City Grand/The Grand is the premier active, age-restricted community in Arizona.

We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Tech with an emphasis on HVAC to join our team! The Maintenance Tech performs general facility maintenance duties and operational maintenance of the Association facilities. This position requires attention to detail, dependability, and a great deal of contact with community residents, visitors, and the Community Association Management (CAM) staff.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintaining, diagnosing, and performing repairs of general facility maintenance, emphasis on HVAC as required;
  • Work orders – verifying and completing all orders are complete within a 24-hour period to company standards;
  • Inspect Association buildings and common area amenities to maintain safety standards and identifying issues requiring maintenance, repair or replacement;
  • Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the maintenance shop;
  • Assist in the performance of preventative maintenance on a scheduled and seasonal basis;
  • Assist in delivering supplies, materials, and equipment to various areas;
  • Participate in emergency on-call/after-hours maintenance assignments; adhering to established response times and addresses emergency issues appropriately, if required;
  • Keep current with events and activities occurring at The Grand;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a HVAC maintenance position.
  • HVAC Certification is required.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others.
  • Must comply with all safety requirements.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
  • Must possess, maintain, a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
